Painting, Installation, 2010
Punk subculture was never about the rules. It was about breaking them. Mocking the principles, irony, mutiny, rage, provocation. Contrculture was full of scream and seeming chaos, which allowed people to fight frustration and dissatisfaction. The installation "Punk's Not Dead" was an attempt to recall those ideals of adolescence and to reflect on life choices.
Work consists of 3 walls covered with sprayed tags, simple drawings, signatures. Through its content, bright colors and with vibrant energy it shouts out the truth and hope. The spectators were welcome to write down their own words and sentences, to track the stories, discover unknown meanings and compere with his/her experiences.
